BREAKING: FCTA staff seal PDP national headquarters

The Federal Capital Territory Administration (FCTA), under the supervision of FCT Minister Nyesom Wike, has sealed the national headquarters of the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) in Abuja.

The closure occurred at exactly 2:06 p.m. on Monday when FCTA officials arrived at Wadata Plaza, located in Wuse Zone 5, and locked the main entrance of the party’s secretariat.

This action comes shortly after the FCTA issued a statement on Sunday declaring its plans to repossess properties linked to the revocation of over 4,700 land titles. The agency cited unpaid ground rent, reportedly overdue for periods ranging from 10 to 43 years, as the reason behind the crackdown.

Further details are expected to emerge as the situation develops.
