The Pastor in charge of the Redeemed Christian Church of God, Strong Tower Parish, Etobicoke Area of Toronto in Canada, Pastor Oluwaseun Olatubosun, has told the body of Christ and the world at large to see God’s grace as their source of progress and survival.

Starnews NG reports that the Cleric disclosed this during his Sunday Sermon, titled: “Provisional Grace,” in continuation with his teaching on the twelve pillars of grace, saying it is an act of foolishness for people to think their sustainability is in the work they do.

“Grace is the gift of God, it has appeared to all men. God does not need anything to bless people. He can bless out of nothing. He can bless with anything. Not only that, but he said to Peter to lunch his net into the deep, the same place they have toiled, the Bible says they caught a multitude of fishes. Grace makes things happen when you understand what it is. It is foolishness to think that your sustainability is in the work you do”, he said.

Quoting from 2nd Corinthians 9:8, Pastor Oluwaseun said that it is the sufficiency of God that terminates deficiency, adding that we can flourish in all things when God’s grace abound.

In a long sermon, he also told congregants to be anxious for nothing and not worry over the basic needs of life, that God already knows we are in need of them. According to him, we are to thirst after righteousness and seek God’s Kingdom first.

Using the book of Mathew 6: 25-34 to convey his message, the pastor said, “people worry too much over the basic needs of life which are food, clothing, and shelter; they are everyone’s thoughts. But can your worries add to your life”? He queried.

“Worry does not solve the problems. Worry takes away from the man. It never adds anything good to life. Worry and fear kill faster than sickness. Worry comes to steal the joy of tomorrow. When there is worry, there is added trouble. When worry sets in, doubt comes in, when you doubt, you lose faith and when you lose faith, you can’t please God,” he added.

Meanwhile, the church was filled with the glory of God as two sisters celebrated their birthdays and gave different testimonies of how they escaped untimely deaths in fatal motor accidents that killed other passengers.

One of the sisters who narrated her accident experience which occurred in 2004 said she slipped into coma for three months with a three-month pregnancy and God brought her back to life safe with the baby now a graduate, Starnews NG reports.
