Two Die, Six Injured in Crash on Oyo-Ogbomoso Road

An auto crash on the Oyo-Ogbomoso road has resulted in the deaths of two individuals and left six others injured.

The lone accident, which happened near the Ipeba area on Friday, involved a commercial Nissan car that reportedly collided with rocks placed as a barricade by a construction company.

Witnesses said the driver and a female passenger lost their lives in the crash, although their identities had not been disclosed as of the time of this report.

Officials from the Federal Road Safety Corps (FRSC), Oolo Unit, quickly responded to the scene to assist the victims.

Those injured were rushed to Bowen University Teaching Hospital for treatment, while the deceased were taken to the morgue at Ladoke Akintola University of Technology (LAUTECH) Teaching Hospital.
