I am disappointed some educated Nigerians were clapping hands yesterday for Buhari, spreading lies and deceit to defend the illegal removal of the Chief Justice of Nigeria, Walter Onnoghen.

They joined people perpetrating political scam to turn logic on its head in the name of partisanship.

I am surprised the more they look , the less they see. Some argued it was because Buhari’s administration who is the most corrupt government in the history of Nigeria is fighting corruption.

They claimed there is nothing wrong if Buhari suspend the constitution in the name of fighting corruption.

I still don’t know when corruption allegation has now become a certification that a man is corrupt.

Nobody is greater than the law of this land and Buhari is not an exception. Even if Onnoghen is Evans, the notorious  kidnappers, the law can’t be broken to remove him from office.

Besides, all I see here is nepotism and clampdown on perceived enemies especially the opposition.

Nepotism itself is the greatest corruption according to amnesty international.

Nigeria is upside down and Buhari has eroded the unity of this nation by behaving like an emperor.

He suspended Democratic institutions and put the constitution on hold and some people are still saying bravo on social media.

This means an innocent man is not saved anymore in Nigeria because a mere allegation under this government could send anyone to jail.

If you were scammed and rope into what you don’t know, you have no hope any longer since they don’t obey court orders, nor believe in justice or due process.

They have taken away our human rights, restricted our opinions, gagged the press, tamed Civil Societies Organisation, demonised the Judiciary, humiliated the legislature, killed our hard won democracy and disgraced our nations in the comity of nations.

Nigeria has now be taken back to Abacha’s era. Where lies the hope of common Nigerians?

The Bible says: “For if these things are done when the tree is green, what will happen when it is dry?”
