“Inconclusive Is Now Conclusive,” Tofowomo Tells INEC chairman After Receiving Return Certificate

Otunba Nicholas Tofowomo, Senator-elect for Ondo South, thrown some journalists into an unending laughters when he told the chairman of Independent National Electoral Commission (INEC ), Yakubu Mahmood, that: “ the inconclusive is now conclusive. No more inconclusive election again in Ondo South” moment he received his certificate of return on Thursday.

The Senator-elect was among the newly elected senators who collected certificate of return from INEC at the international conference center, Abuja.

He dedicated his victory to God and the good people of Ondo South.

He also said that his mandate was for everyone in the constituency irrespective of tribal, religious and political affiliation.

Recall that Tofowomo, who contested on the platform of the PDP, scored 81,892 votes to defeat the incumbent Senator, Yele Omogunwa, of the APC, who scored 55,610 votes at the March 9 re-run elections in Ondo South.
