Fake Lawyer Arrested After Winning 26 Cases In Court

 

A man named Brian Mwendwa Njagi has been arrested, after it was discovered that he is not a registered lawyer.

His arrest came after he had successfully argued and won ALL his 26 cases in court, including many high-profile cases.

Mwendwa, a Kenyan, was exposed as a fake lawyer when the Law Society Of Kenya announced on Thursday 12 October 2023 that he is not on their membership register and has never attended any Law School.

So, how did he manage to get into court 26 times without actually being a lawyer?

Apparently, Brian earlier worked at the Office of the Attorney General.

While there, he created a fake advocate account for himself with an “inactive” status, then used it to access the court system.

In reality, Brian Mwendwa Njagi is a second year student in the department of Criminology at Chuka University, Tharaka-Nithi County, about 186 km from Nairobi, Kenya.
