Easter: Ondo PDP Felicitates citizens, says time to endure sufferings created by APC is short

The Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) in Ondo State has felicitated the good people of Ondo State, particularly the Christian faith as they celebrate the death and resurrection of the Saviour, Jesus Christ.

In a statement by Leye Igbabo, the Acting Director of Media and Publicity, the party preaches perseverance, tolerance, stoicism and uncommon strength which the Lord Jesus Christ exhibited even when He was passing through the horrible situations “just as we are experiencing today”.

“Since the advent of the present APC administration in Ondo State, ordinary citizens have been made to endure very inhuman conditions. Life has simply become unbearable because all the social safety nets hitherto enjoyed by the people have become luxuries, ranging from free medical services to free education, including free school shuttle buses.”

“Our party enjoins the people to endure the suffering being witnessed as it also signified the same suffering which the Lord Jesus went through before He secured the eternal victory which we are all savouring today.”

“The PDP, therefore, implores the people to keep faith with it as the only viable alternative to free the people from the needless socio-economic doldrums and political imbroglio caused by incongruent and incoherent policies which are largely driven by obstinacy and rascality of the APC leadership.”

“Time for which we still have to endure is very short. In no distant time, there shall be a new dawn for the people and the State”, the statement said.
