COVID 19: NGO Distributes Food Packages to Widows, Aged people on Easter

Supporting vulnerable Nigerians on Easter and to also stem the spread of coronavirus pandemic ravaging the nation, a non-governmental organization known as Agbajowo Community Development Foundation have distributed palliative packages to widows and aged people at Ilutitun community in Okitipupa Local Government Area of Ondo State.

Starnews NG reports that the NGO started the disbursement on April 10, 2020, to 150 beneficiaries.

The programme was concluded yesterday.

Mr. Ekundayo Omosefunmi who supervised the distribution said, Agbajowo Community Development Foundation has been helping vulnerable Nigerians in Osooro land before this pandemic period. He said the group would not relent in helping the needy in the society.

One of the beneficiaries who spoke with our correspondent, Mrs. Bose Akintimehin, appreciated the gestures and pray for the NGO.

Other numerous beneficiaries also prayed for the NGO for reaching out to them, Starnews NG can report.
