2019: Group Adopts Ex LG Boss For Ondo Senatorial Race

Ikale Youth Organisation in Ondo South has adopted Engr Ademulegun Raphael, the former chairman of Odigbo local government in Ondo state as their sole candidate for the senatorial seat of Ondo South in the forthcoming 2019 general  election in Nigeria.

Chairman of Ikale Youth Organisation, Deacon Ademola Akinrinlola, made this known to the public through a statement he personally signed and made available to press men in Akure, the Ondo State capital.

Ademola said the decision was uninanimously taken by the leadership of the group after a meeting that lasted for 4 hours today in Akure.

The group resolved to support Engr Ademulegun, irrespective of the political party he intends to use for the election.

The group lamented that the Ondo South  senatorial district has suffered a major set back due to bad leadership and appointment error.

“Due to poor representation and appointment error by the executive, Ondo South has suffered a major set back in terms of development and infrastructure.”

“We are in darkness for the past 4 Years now and we have a senator, a minister and other elected and appointed representatives as if we have non. It is irritating many of them are making move to return for the second term despite the failures of some of them.”

“Just imagine our current Senator in Ondo south is also seeking reelection despite his obvious failures in governance. He has been in the Senate since over 3 years as if the Ondo South senatorial seat is vacant. What an insult to our people in Ondo South”, Ademola said.
