UCL: Dembele Cleared to Face Arsenal in Semi-Final Clash

By Charles Maduka

Paris Saint-Germain have received a major boost ahead of their UEFA Champions League semi-final second leg against Arsenal as forward Ousmane Dembele has been declared fit to play.

Dembele, who scored the only goal in the first leg at the Emirates Stadium before limping off in the 70th minute with a hamstring injury, resumed full training earlier this week. His fitness had been in doubt after missing PSG’s Ligue 1 defeat to Strasbourg on Saturday.

Confirming the news on Tuesday, PSG head coach Luis Enrique said, “He’s been training with us for the last two days. You saw him today — a normal training session for him. He’ll be available tomorrow.”

The French international has been in sensational form this season, netting 33 goals across all competitions, making him a key figure in PSG’s campaign.

Also returning to training is South Korean midfielder Lee Kang-in, who had picked up a knock during the weekend’s league game. His availability adds depth to the squad as the Parisians prepare for a crucial European showdown at home.

PSG head into the second leg with a slim 1-0 advantage as they aim to secure a place in the Champions League final.
