Tofowomo Beats Omogunwa, 3 Others To Emerge Winner of Ondo South Opinion Poll

The People’s Democratic Party (PDP) Candidate for Ondo South, Otunba Nicholas Tofowomo, has defeated Senator Yele Omogunwa and three others to emerge the winner of an online poll conducted for the people of Ondo South in Ondo State.

In the poll monitored by Starnews Online Newspaper on Facebook wall of a public analyst, Surulere Akinbuwa, Tofowomo emerged winner of the final round of the poll with 68.24% to defeat his closest rival, Eni Akinsola of the Zenith Labour Party (ZLP) with 31.76%.

Dr. Olatunji Felder of the Action Alliance (AA) came third while Senator Yele Omogunwa of the ruling All Progressive Congress (APC) came distant fourth. Both of them lost out in the first round of the Poll.

Starnews learnt that the poll started last week Saturday on Facebook with over 450 participants
