Tinubu to Visit Katsina Friday

President Bola Tinubu will visit Katsina State on Friday for a one-day official trip.

This visit will mark his first time in the state since he became President in 2023.

The President is expected to launch two major projects carried out by the current state government under Governor Dikko Radda.

One of the projects is the Eastern Bypass, which runs from Dutsin-ma Road through Kano and Daura Roads and ends at Yandaki in Kaita Local Government Area.

The second project is the state’s Agricultural Mechanisation Centre, designed to improve farming systems in the region.

During the visit, discussions between the President and state officials are also expected to cover some of the problems facing the state, especially the issue of insecurity.

The state government has called on residents to come out in large numbers to welcome the President and maintain peace during his visit.
