Lauretta Onochie, social media aide to President Muhammadu Buhari, has said that the Department of State Services (DSS) saved Omoyele Sowore from setting himself ablaze. Mrs Onochie said this on Saturday as reactions follow the arrest of Sowore, presidential candidate AAC in the last presidential election in Nigeria. Sowore was arrested at his apartment early Saturday and his phone seized when he tried to raise alarm over the invasion. Media aide of the Nigeria president, Lauretta Onochie, went on a tirade against the president of the Christian Association of Nigeria, Dr Samson Olasupo in an open letter posted on her Facebook page. According to the Gaurdian, the vitriolic post featured heavy name-calling and innuendoes against the pastor who has been critical of Muhammadu Buhari’s appointments. Dr Olasupo said that the appointments by the president were lopsided favouring the Muslim majority North. Lauretta Onochie, President Muhammadu Buhari’s Aide on Social Media has listed how she thinks over 13 million citizens will vote for President Muhammadu Buhari in the upcoming 2019 Presidential election.
