Controversial Judgements: US reportedly slams visa ban on CJN Ariwoola, 6 others

The United States government has reportedly placed a visa ban on the Chief Justice of Nigeria (CJN) Olukayode Ariwoola, and six other members of the Supreme Court of Nigeria over their delivery of alleged controversial and inciting judgments. According to Point Blank News, besides Justice Ariwoola, the other apex court justices whose identities were revealed by a highly placed source, are Justices Musa Dattijo Mohammed, Centus Nweze, and Justice Kudirat Kekere Ekun. FG, NECA to inaugurate 1,071 houses in Akure, Yola, 6 others

The Federal Mortgage Bank of Nigeria has disclosed plans to inaugurate 1,071 completed houses in eight project sites across the country. The states include Akure, Ondo state; Yola, Adamawa state; Katsina, Abakiliki, Ebonyi state; Damaturu, Yobe State; Sokoto, Maiduguri, Borno; as well as Kogi State.
