Super Falcons Star Speaks On Reports of Being Lesbian

Super Falcons player Michelle Alozie has clarified her sexual preference after a post made by her went viral on social media.

This comes after the international footballer via her Instagram stories shared a photo of her and friend Diana Ordonez while using the word ‘husband’ in the caption.

The defender, who has been the darling of many male admirers since her appearance at the 2023 FIFA Women’s World Cup in Australia and New Zealand, wrote, “Happy us over them day…to my husband.”

Her post elicited a lot of reactions on the microblogging platform, X, with many questioning her sexuality; some went as far as describing her as a lesbian.

Reacting to the uproar, Alozie reposted a post on X by Ordonez.

“You guys can stop reaching now, we like boys and I’m out here looking for my husband,” the post read.

She further posted that she likes boys and not girls. She wrote: “I like guys. lol. relax.”

She added, “I promise you there are more important issues to discuss in the world than my sexuality.”
