Rivers Gov. Honours Super Eagles Goalkeeper with cash gift

Governor Siminalayi Fubara of Rivers State has gifted Super Eagles goalkeeper Stanley Nwabali N20m for his impressive showing at the just-ended Africa Cup of Nations (AFCON).

The team’s coaching crew equally received a cash reward of N30m for their efforts. Nigeria won silver in the competition.

Nwabali has received numerous encomium from football lovers in Nigeria for his stellar performance at the competition which saw the team making it to the competition’s final.
