Queen Firdaus of Iwoland’, Oluwo unveils new wife

The Oluwo of Iwo, Oba Abdulrosheed Akanbi, has unveiled his new wife, Princess Firdaus Abdullahi.

 

The monarch released beautiful photographs of the new queen with a short message that read, ‘Queen Firdaus of Iwoland’ which accompanied the pictures.

 

The royal father sent the photographs to our correspondent Saturday afternoon, while the wedding ceremony is being held in Kano.

 

The invitation to the ceremony released earlier had indicated that Oba Akanbi would wed Princess Firdaus at the residence of the Madakin Kano, Yola Quarters, Kano.

Further details indicated that after the wedding, a reception strictly for ladies would be held at the palace of the Emir of Kano, Alhaji Aminu Bayero.
