President Bola Ahmed Tinubu has returned to Abuja after official visits to France and South Africa.
His plane touched down at the presidential wing of Nnamdi Azikiwe International Airport at approximately 9:10 p.m. on Wednesday, December 4, 2024.
The president began his trip last Wednesday with a visit to France at the invitation of French President Emmanuel Macron. The visit aimed to enhance bilateral relations and foster partnerships in critical areas such as agriculture, security, education, health, youth development, employment, innovation, and energy transition.
After completing his engagements in France, Tinubu traveled to South Africa on Monday to co-chair the 11th Nigeria-South Africa Bi-National Commission with South African President Cyril Ramaphosa.
The session focused on strengthening ties between the two nations and addressing shared economic and regional challenges.
