Passengers escape death as Asky Air plane loses tyre on Lagos runways

A major air disaster was averted on Monday at the Murtala Muhammed International Airport, Lagos State, as Boeing 737aircraft belonging to AskyAirlines lost one of its back tyres after landing.

Starnews Nigeria reports that the plane was returning from Lome, the capital of the Republic of Togo.

It was gathered that one of the back tyres busted after landing at the airport terminal.

It was not year clear if any casualty was recorded as emergency personnel were on the ground to rescue passengers and have the situation under control as at the time of filing this report.
