Ondo Stylist To Break Guinness World Record with Hair Marathon

By Our Correspondent

Caroline Ejibunu, known as Carolaura, is preparing to set a new Guinness World Record by creating the most hairstyles in a 24-hour period.

The event, called “Hair-a-Thon,” will take place on December 4 at City Walk 2.0, Ademulegun Road, Ondo state.

This event is not just about breaking a record; it aims to showcase Nigerian talent and creativity in the beauty industry.

Carolaura has received official approval from the Guinness World Records team to proceed with her attempt.

The Hair-a-Thon will also serve as a global platform for Nigerian hairstylists, offering live streaming for audiences around the world.

It will highlight the skill and artistry of local professionals and provide an opportunity for the community and beauty lovers to engage directly.

Currently, there is no Guinness World Record for the most hairstyles completed in 24 hours, but the record for the most consecutive haircuts within a day stands at 526, set by Nabi Salehi in London in 2011.
