Ondo Governor Nominates Ex- Vice Chancellor, Ajibefun, as Commissioner

The governor of Ondo State, Dr. Lucky Orimisan Aiyedatiwa, has nominated a Professor of Agricultural Economics, Igbekele Amos Ajibefun, as a commissioner in the state.

This was contained in a statement signed and released on Thursday by the governor’s spokesperson, Prince Ebenezer Adeniyan, wherein the governor announced 12 nominees for the position of Commissioner in the State Executive Council for confirmation.

Professor Ajibefun was formerly Rector of the Rufus Giwa Polytechnic and Vice Chancellor of Adekunle Ajasin University, Akungba Akoko.

Other nominees are: Engr Aycrinde Abiola Olawoye, Hon. Ayodele Akande, Engr Alabi Johnson, Alhaji Amidu Takuro, Otunba Adewale Akinlosotu, Mr. Idowu Ajanaku, Dr Oluwaseun Abosede Osamaye, Dr Tob Loko, Mr. Olaolu Akindolire, Hon. Sunday Olajide, and Mr. Omoyofunmi Segun Henry

The list of the nominees has been forwarded to the Ondo State House of Assembly for confirmation.
