A 27-year-old panel beater, Modupe Oni, has been sentenced to life imprisonment for raping a 4-year-old girl at Ifon in Ose Local Government Area of Ondo State.
Justice Samuel Bola sentenced the defendant after convicting him on a court charge of rape contrary to section 357 and punishable under section 358 of the criminal laws of Ondo State.
OSRC’s Shola Ilesanmi reports that Oni has begun his new life at the Olokuta facility of the Nigeria Correctional Service.
