Adelegbe Commences Installation of 3,000 Solar-Powered Streetlights in Owo/Ose

As part of his commitment to delivering the dividends of democracy to his constituents, the Chairman, House Committee on Science Research Institutions, and Member representing Owo/Ose Federal Constituency in the House of Representatives, Hon. (Dr.) Oluwatimehin Adelegbe, has commenced the installation of 3,000 solar-powered streetlights across various communities in the constituency.

Hon. Adelegbe said the project is part of his continuous efforts to ensure quality representation and fulfill his electoral promises to the people of Owo and Ose.

According to him, the initiative has gone beyond illuminating major streets, as it now includes personalised installations in strategic locations such as churches, mosques, security offices, and the residences of notable community and political leaders.

He added that traditional rulers and heads of non-indigenous groups within the constituency are also among the beneficiaries, emphasizing that the gesture is aimed at improving security, enhancing night-time economic activities, and promoting a sense of inclusion across all communities.
