The Ondo State chapter of the New Nigeria People’s Party (NNPP) has urged state security operatives to intervene against individuals vandalizing aspirants’ billboards across the region.

Comrade Wasiu Sanusi, NNPP’s Publicity Secretary in Ondo State, emphasized the need to swiftly address this trend to prevent potential crises. Sanusi highlighted that a faceless group has been targeting billboards of gubernatorial aspirants within the All Progressives Congress (APC).

“We which is the main opposition party in Ondo State frown at destroying of billboards in Ondo State among the aspirants of the ruling party All Progressive Congress APC in the state.

“We should not have reacted to the issue but we realise that if this is happening among themselves in the ruling party then what will now be our fate as a main opposition party in the state,” he said.

He asked people of the state to continue to keep faith with NNPP, adding that the party had become the best alternative to use in unseating the ruling party in the state.
