Olafeso Expresses Gratitude Following Appointment as Member of PDP Board of Trustees

Dr. Eddy Olafeso, recently appointed as a member of the Board of Trustees (BoT) of the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP), has expressed his heartfelt appreciation to all those who congratulated him on this significant milestone.

In a statement reflecting on his new role on Thursday, Dr. Olafeso emphasised his commitment to fostering unity within the party. “My focus is to make peace and work with every clarity of mind to unite the PDP, make it stronger, and work towards achieving the party’s common interests and vision to move forward,” he stated.

He extended his sincere thanks to the leadership of the PDP for the honour of his appointment, expressing his gratitude by saying, “I am grateful to them for this opportunity.”

In concluding his remarks, Dr. Olafeso underscored the importance of collaboration among party members, stating, “The next step is to work with other like minds to ensure that Nigeria is not turned into a one-party country. The PDP will continue to work forward, liberating Nigerians from the impoverished rule of the All Progressives Congress (APC), which has brought hardship upon our people.”

Starnews NG reports that Dr. Olafeso’s commitment to strengthening the PDP and advocating for the welfare of Nigerians reflects his dedication to the party and its vision for a better future.
