Raheem Okoya, son of billionaire Chief Razaq Okoya, has publicly apologized for a viral video where he and his brother, Wahab, were seen spraying and tossing N1,000 notes while dancing.
In a message shared online, Raheem expressed regret for his actions and asked Nigerians for forgiveness, acknowledging the backlash the video caused.
The video, reportedly intended to promote Raheem’s new song, “Credit Alert,” also featured a uniformed police officer holding cash.
This drew criticism from the Nigeria Police Force, which has since detained the officer and initiated disciplinary measures, Western Post reports.
The incident has sparked conversations about respect for Nigeria’s currency and the ethical conduct of public figures and law enforcement officers.
