Ogun Amotekun arrests man for stealing motorcycle in bank

 

One 31-year-old Abubakar Salleh has been arrested by men of the Amotekun Corps in Ogun State for allegedly stealing a motorcycle within a bank premises at Panseke area of Abeokuta, the State capital.

The Commander of Ametokun, David Akinremi told newsmen in a release that the corps nabbed the suspect with the motorcycle, otherwise known as Okada, with the registration number, AYE 811 VN.

According to Akinremi, the culprit is presently being interrogated, adding that “he will be handed over to the police thereafter for prosecution.”

The Corps assured law-abiding residents of its commitment to protect their lives and property.

Sounding a note of warning to criminal elements, Akinremi warned them “to relocate from the State or be ready for the long arm of the law to catch up with them.”
