Erelu Mabel Tinuade Onaneye, the titleholder of Erelu Oodua and Irawo Oni-Oodua of Yoruba land, has attacked the National Leader and a frontline Presidential Aspirant of the All Progressive Congress, APC, Senator Bola Ahmed Tinubu over the donation of N75M for victims of the church attacks in Owo, Ondo State.
Starnews Nigeria had reported that Tinubu on Monday donated N50 million for the treatment of survivors and N25 million for the management of the church attacked by terrorists.
The former Lagos Governor arrived at Owo on Monday morning to visit families of Sunday’s church attack by gunmen. He also visited St Francis Catholic Church and the Palace of Olowo of Owo, Oba Ajibade Gbadegesin Ogunoye III following the terrorists’ attacks on the church which claimed the lives of an unspecified number of persons while many people were injured.
Reacting to the donation on her Facebook, Erelu said Tinubu is buying the people of Ondo State for political votes, saying he’s being hypocritical for making such a donation he couldn’t make when many youths were murdered during the #Endsars protest and during Igangan/Fulani crisis in Oyo State where many lives and property were lost.
