Jubilations In Aso Villa As WAEC Issues Attestation Certificate To Buhari

— Nigerians react, says this is suspicious

— Why did he hire SANs in 2015 when he could achieve this, some queried?

— 1961 Cambridge West African examination body is not the same with WAEC, some Nigerians tweeted.

There were jubilations in Aso Villa as the  West African Examination Council (WAEC), has issued an “attestation certificate” to President Muhammadu Buhari, according to Femi Adesina.

Mr Buhari has been criticised by opposition politicians and many other Nigerians after he told the Independent National Electoral Commission (INEC) that his school certificate is still with military authorities.

The president stated this in his submission of essential forms to INEC for the 2019 elections where he is the presidential candidate of the ruling APC.

Femi Adesina tweeted:

“WAEC presents attestation certificate and confirmation of school cert result to President Buhari. What will the naysayers say next?”

Meanwhile, some Nigerians have reacted on tweeter, describing the issuance of the attestation certificate by WAEC as suspicious.

Reno Omokri wrote:

“Dear @FemAdesina,

Most suspicious. @MBuhari claimed his certificate was with the army. The army denied being in receipt of his certificate and now @WAECNigeria produces a result 4 months to election? What is the name of that Fela song? ‘Army Arrangement”

Dare Hardy said:

“But if it was so simple why didn’t he do this in 2015 especially when that barrister took him to court? Why hire 15 SANs to defend him possessing a certificate it would have taken at most N5000 processing fee and an application letter to get?”

In his own opinion, Godswillefe wrote:

“1961 Cambridge West African examination body is not the same with WAEC. He should apply for his lost certificate as a proof of his integrity.”

Patolee tweeted: :The most fascinating thing about the whole result stuff is the the passport on the result is the same as him now does that mean he just registered for the exam and all in one month his certificate is out already. Nigeria my Country”

Curticsblue wrote: “Pls this is suspicious o! 15 SANs were paid to defend PMB over this issue. PMB has never mentioned WAEC, he kept referring to Nigeria Army as custodian of his certificates.”

On his part, Bamituni Abamu, said:

“This is a time for mourning. I don’t find this funny anymore. This is the biggest corrupt act in Nigeria’s history.”

Segun Adedayo also queried “Has WAEC Started Uploading Passport Photograph in 1961on certificate? When has Cambridge become WAEC?”

Afolabi Orukotan wrote: WAEC IS 67 YEARS OLD 1951. BUHARI IS 74 YEARS OLD . HOW OLD WAS BUHARI WHEN HE SAT FOR WAEC ?

Another set of Nigerians said the issuance of the attestation certificate is another government magic

THIS WAEC MAGIC IS THE MOST CHALLENGING CORRUPT ACT IN NIGERIA. NIGERIANS CAN NOW SEE THE DANGEROUS THREAT TO THE 2019 ELECTIONS. IT WONT BE A SURPRISE IF INEC HAS PREPARED THE ELECTION RESULT FAR AHEAD. INTERESTINGLY, THE COVER UP HAS OPENED MORE GROUNDS FOR QUESTIONING. THERE ARE MUCH MORE MORAL QUESTIONS AND NIGERIANS MUST NOT ALLOW THIS TO BE BROOMED UNDER THE CARPET. IF GEJ HAD HAD THIS PROBLEM THEN , THE APC WOULD HAVE MADE THE COUNTRY HOT FOR ALL. LET NIGERIANS CALL FOR A PROBE OF THIS MANIFICIENT NEGATIVE COLLABORATION.
