“I’m Contesting Not To Render Service But To Be Productive”–Solomon Bitire

“Just like pst Kalejaiye said in his quotable quotes that there is difference between service and production, I want to say emphatically that I am contesting under the umbrella of the People Democratic Party (PDP) to represent the people of Okitipupa state constituency II in the Ondo State House of Assembly to be productive to my constituency instead of rendring service to them.”

Above were the words of Hon. Solomon Bitire, former chairman of Okitipupa local government and PDP aspirant for Ondo state house of assembly, when he was responding to some questions yesterday at the Ondo state secreatriat of the PDP in Akure after he submitted his party nomination form for state assembly election.

He said his primary mission is to make a difference, by sponsoring and legislate on bills that will be productive to the people of Okitipupa constituency II instead of redering mere service to them if elected.

Bitire also claimed that apart from the fact that he is a loyal party man, most qualified, and most experienced among his co-apirants, his community under the constituency, (Ode-Erinje), “is the only community which has not produced any representative to the Ondo State house of assembly out of the 18years of democratic rule since 1999”.

He therefore charged PDP leaders and delegates at the local government to respect the traditional zoning arrangement which is, absolutely, not in favour of any other community than Ode Erinje under Okitipupa Constituency II in order to maintain the existing cordial political relationship that exists in the constutuency under PDP from time immemorial.

Bitire also reminded the party leadership and all delegates that the devil at home whose abode and identity are known, is better than an angel loaded with dollars of ghana-must-go bags, whose identity and characters are hidden but only appear just because another period for election has come.
