Ijoba Lande Accuses Funke Akindele of Underpayment After Month-Long Job

Nigerian comedian and actor Ijoba Lande has publicly voiced his frustration over his experience working with Nollywood star and filmmaker Funke Akindele, alleging that he was paid only ₦90,000 after spending a month on a project with her.

In a now-viral video, Lande shared his disappointment, sparking mixed reactions from the public. While some social media users criticized Akindele, arguing that the payment was insufficient, others defended her, suggesting Lande should have discussed the issue privately rather than airing it online.

During a live session on his social media page, Lande revealed that he stayed at Akindele’s residence in Amen Estate for an entire month. However, he claimed that the amount he received was far below what he had expected, leading to his decision to call her out.

The controversy has continued to generate debates online, with some fans questioning the fairness of the payment and others emphasizing the importance of proper contractual agreements in the entertainment industry.
