House of Reps Postpones Resumption to February

The House of Representatives has announced that its plenary resumption, originally set for January 28, 2025, will now take place on February 4, 2025.

The postponement was confirmed by House spokesman Akintunde Rotimi, with the notice sent to members by the House Clerk, Dr. Yahaya Danzaria.

The delay allows time for House Committees to complete their ongoing discussions with Ministries, Departments, and Agencies regarding the budget, The Nation reports.

This adjustment ensures a more thorough approach to the legislative process.

The House has reassured the public of its commitment to its duties.
