The Kaduna State Pilgrims Welfare Agency has announced that the airlifting of pilgrims to Saudi Arabia for the 2025 Hajj will begin on May 14.
This was made known in a statement issued on Tuesday in Kaduna by the agency’s Public Relations Officer, Malam Yunusa Abdullahi, on behalf of the Executive Chairman, Malam Salihu Abubakar.
According to Abubakar, 4,060 pilgrims from Kaduna State are expected to take part in this year’s Hajj. He said UMZA Airline will handle their transportation to the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia.
He also explained that all pilgrims would undergo a full medical screening at the Hajj Transit Camp in Mando before departure.
“In compliance with international and Saudi Arabian health regulations, all female pilgrims are required to undergo pregnancy tests before departure,” Abubakar stated.
He advised all intending pilgrims to follow the rules and guidelines provided by the Saudi authorities. He stressed the importance of discipline, group coordination, and personal safety during the pilgrimage.
“The Agency appreciates the cooperation of all stakeholders and calls on the public to support the pilgrims with prayers for a successful and safe journey,” he added.
The Kaduna State Pilgrims Welfare Agency assured that it is fully prepared to provide a smooth and spiritually fulfilling Hajj experience.
