Fire razes Abuja Estate market

A market in Trademore estate, along Airport Road, Abuja was on Monday morning engulfed in fire.

An eye witness who is also a resident of the area, who spoke to Vanguard, said his attention was drawn to the incident at about 4 am.

“We do not yet know the cause of the fire, but we cannot rule out an electrical issue,” he said.

According to him, two hours after the fire started, men of the Federal Fire Service arrived and put the fire out.

Meanwhile, the cause of the fire could not be immediately ascertained as at the time of filing this report.
