Erelu Oodua commends Afenifere’s support for Igboho

The widely respected international custodian of African cultures, who is equally the Erelu-Oodua of Aye Kingdom and Irawo-Oni Oodua of Yorubaland, Erelu Tinuade Mabel Onaneye has given kudos to the apex Yoruba socio-cultural group, Afenifere for their reaction and statements countering the alleged branding of Sunday Adeyemo popularly known as ‘Sunday Igboho’ as a terrorist by Nigerian Federal Government’s panel.

Erelu made the call from her base in Texas, United States in a Press Release she signed and made available to the public via her media aide, Saint-Olawale Jimoh after Afenifere’s press statement condemning the report of the Federal Government’s 24-man panel that linked the frontline Yoruba nation agitator, Sunday Adeyemo to a Boko Haram sponsor, Surajo Muhammed, who was sentenced to life imprisonment in the United Arab Emirates for financing terrorism.

‘I want to specially appreciate our Pan-Yoruba socio-cultural group, Afenifere for coming out to identify with our Yoruba nation agitator, Sunday Igboho, and countering the indicting Federal Government panel’s reports designed to nail him. Afenifere deserves commendation for this efforts.’ Erelu commented.

Erelu Tinuade who has been at the forefront of diaspora support for the persecuted Yoruba activist says Afenifere has shown a good example. She, therefore, beseeched all Yoruba sons and daughters to rise to support Igboho, saying an injustice to one is an injustice for all.
