A collective of Yoruba Nation Youth from both within the country and abroad has sounded an alarm, clarifying their stance as a legitimate group advocating for Yoruba self-determination and independence, vehemently denying any association with terrorism.

Emphasizing their commitment to peaceful means, they assert that the aspiration for a Yoruba Nation is non-negotiable and long overdue, signaling their unwavering determination.

Prophet Ayodele Ologunloluwa, leader of the Yoruba Nation Youth in both local and diaspora communities, firmly reiterated their peaceful objectives in response to warnings from the Ondo state government regarding potential troublemakers disguising themselves as Yoruba Nation agitators.

Rejecting any affiliation with violence, Ologunloluwa emphasized their sole focus on the realization of a sovereign Yoruba state, distancing themselves from any agenda against the integrity of Nigeria.

According to him, “let us state clearly here that the quest for Yoruba Nation self-determination is non-negotiable and no amount of intimidation can make us back out.

“We are following the footsteps of our leader, Emeritus Professor Banji Akintoye, Chief Sunday Adeyemo Igboho Oosha, and our Youth Leader, Prophet Ayodele Ologunloluwa.

“We are for peace to get our Nation. What we want is Yoruba Nation, we want to be free from slavery because what God has given us on our land is enough to feed us.

“However, it is regrettable that despite our objectives and consistent peaceful campaigns, Ondo state government has misunderstood and misconstrued their intention contrary to what we stands for. It is unfortunately that the Ondo state government has misrepresented our genuine intentions before the public and tag us as terrorists.

“And the Gorverment know the game they are playing. They want to tag us as terrorists of which we are not. it is our right to ask for our self determination and we are doing this in line with United Nation Law. We are law abiding citizen, we have never engaged in any violent since we started and we will not . All the games our governors are playing should stop henceforth.

“We are also warning the Special Adviser to Governor Lucky Aiyedatiwa on Information, Hon Olugbenga Omole to desist from creating problems where there is none.

He however called on Federal government to declare Dupe onitiri and her cabinet wanted and charge them to court of Law saying that if Gorverment is sure they are not working together because, this is the second time they have perpetrated these acts and government never do anything about it. They must brought to book.

“We also call on all the Southwest Governors and the Federal government to sit down together and reason why we need our own nation but not in violence like those people who went oyo government sectacrt to overthrown by force. We are not part of them and we don’t know them
