The Civil Defence, Correctional, Fire and Immigration Services Board (CDCFIB) has issued a public notice to inform applicants of an upcoming Computer-Based Test (CBT) for shortlisted candidates in its ongoing recruitment exercise.

According to a statement signed by the Secretary to the Board, Maj. Gen. A. M. Jibril (Rtd.), the CBT will soon hold across the 36 states of the federation and the Federal Capital Territory for applicants who were successful in the earlier screening phase.

The statement, dated October 21, 2025, urged all applicants who applied to any of the four services under the board to check their application status by visiting the official recruitment portal — https://recruitment.cdcfib.gov.ng — next week.

Applicants are advised to confirm if they have been shortlisted and to note their designated centres, dates, and times for the test.

Maj. Gen. Jibril also cautioned applicants against falling victim to fraudulent websites or individuals posing as board officials, warning that the CDCFIB will communicate only through its official portal.

“All applicants are enjoined to take note of the Board’s portal address highlighted above to avoid being scammed,” the statement read.

The CDCFIB thanked members of the public for their patience and cooperation as the recruitment process continues.
