Buhari May Extend ‘Private Visit’ To London For Health Reasons

— It’s Rubbish To Say Buhari Won’t Return On May 5 – Presidency

President Muhammadu Buhari may not return to the country on Sunday May 5 as scheduled due to health complications.

Inside sources in the Presidency who spoke with SaharaReporters said there is a high likelihood of the President extending his stay on the orders of his doctors.

President Muhammadu Buhari had travelled to the United Kingdom on April 25 for what the presidency described as a “private visit”.

Meanwhile, the Presidency has denied the claims that President Buhari will be extending his 10-day private visit to the United Kingdom due to his failing health.

Reacting to the report, the Senior Special Assistant to the President on Media and Publicity, Garba Shehu, in a chat with Punch, said the claim was totally rubbish, absolutely shameful and disgraceful.

“It is rubbish. This story on the President’s return is absolutely shameful and disgraceful. It is disgusting.” he said
