Buhari Greets Tinubu at Midterm, Urges Continued Support for Reforms

Former President Muhammadu Buhari has congratulated President Bola Tinubu as he marks two years in office, urging Nigerians to stay hopeful and united as the country continues on its path of change.

In a message shared during the midterm celebration of the All Progressives Congress (APC) administration, Buhari acknowledged the work being done under Tinubu’s leadership and encouraged Nigerians to keep supporting the government.

He pointed out that the journey of leadership is ongoing and that results take time to show.

Buhari urged citizens to be patient with the pace of reforms, noting that changes needed to improve the nation will not happen immediately.

He also warned that the efforts being made should not be disturbed by internal political challenges that could slow down progress.

Touching on the economic hardship many families face, Buhari backed the steps Tinubu’s administration is taking to tackle poverty and bring down inflation.

He said these problems have made life harder for the poorest in the country and called on everyone—including private businesses and individuals—to do their part in finding solutions.

As Nigeria moves forward, Buhari asked the public to keep believing in the country’s future.

He stressed the need for realistic expectations from leaders and reminded everyone that building a better nation requires the efforts of both government and citizens.

In closing, Buhari sent his warm wishes to President Tinubu, hoping he continues to lead the country with care and good judgment.
