The West African Examinations Council (WAEC) has announced that it has successfully resolved the technical glitches that affected the release of the 2025 West African Senior School Certificate Examination (WASSCE) results, urging candidates to revisit the result portal to re-check their scores.
In an official statement issued on Thursday, the examination body acknowledged the temporary challenges experienced by some candidates while trying to access or interpret their results due to system errors that occurred shortly after the release.
WAEC explained that the affected candidates may have received incomplete or inaccurate data due to these technical issues but assured that the errors have now been rectified.
“The Council has resolved the challenges associated with the earlier released WASSCE results. We urge all candidates who sat for the 2025 examination to revisit the result-checking portal and re-confirm their results,” the statement read.
WAEC apologised for the inconvenience caused and reaffirmed its commitment to maintaining integrity, accuracy, and transparency in the assessment and release of examination outcomes.
Candidates are advised to check their results via the official WAEC result-checking portal or contact WAEC support lines if they continue to experience difficulties.
The Council thanked the public for its patience and understanding during the process.
