Vigilante Killed in Gunfight as Police Repel Bandits in Katsina

A local vigilante lost his life during a gunfight on Friday when bandits clashed with security forces in Dutsin-ma Local Government Area of Katsina State.

The police successfully forced the bandits to retreat after a fierce exchange of gunfire, with the attackers abandoning all stolen items, as reported by security analyst Bakatsine on X (formerly Twitter).

The analyst commended the Dutsin-ma Police Division for their swift and brave response in repelling the bandits and recovering the stolen goods.

As of now, the Katsina State Police Command has not issued an official statement regarding the incident.
