Uzodimma Postpones Scheduled State of Imo Address

Governor Hope Uzodimma has moved the planned state of the state address in Imo, which was earlier set for Wednesday, June 18, 2025, to a later date that has not yet been announced.

The postponement was made public on Tuesday through a statement issued by the Imo State Commissioner for Information, Public Orientation and Strategy, Declan Emelumba.

The governor was expected to speak at the State House of Assembly about the current situation in Imo, sharing updates on progress, challenges, and what lies ahead for the state.

According to the information from the state government, a new date will be communicated soon, and they asked for understanding from invited guests and stakeholders who had prepared for the event.

The address was meant to host representatives from different groups in the state, including traditional rulers and other leaders.
