UK Not a Hotel for Immigrants, Says Kemi Badenoch

By: Bayero Ade

Kemi Badenoch, the UK Conservative Party leader, has stated that the United Kingdom is not “a hotel” for immigrants, and it cannot accept millions of people from countries like Nigeria and others around the world.

According to Peoples Gazette, In her first speech of the year on Thursday, Badenoch acknowledged the past mistakes made by the UK, but emphasized that the country can no longer afford to open its doors to large numbers of immigrants.

She said, “We simply cannot take all the millions of people who want to come here from elsewhere. Our country is our home; it is not a hotel.”

Badenoch, who immigrated to the UK from Nigeria, also stressed that immigrants who are unwilling to integrate into British culture should not be allowed to stay. “If people arriving don’t want to integrate into British culture, they shouldn’t be here. It is not controversial to say that. And that’s why we need new leadership,” she stated, adding that structural issues in immigration must be addressed, regardless of the party in power.

She shared her personal experience of moving to the UK at the age of 16 and expressed her concerns about Britain potentially becoming impoverished, similar to her home country of Nigeria, due to ineffective governance.

Meanwhile, Nigel Farage, leader of Reform UK, took to social media to mock Badenoch’s speech, pointing out that only 21 people were watching her on Facebook and that her YouTube stream had crashed, humorously commenting, “It’s a good job she understands the digital age.”

Since assuming leadership of the Conservative Party, Badenoch has been a vocal critic of the UK’s immigration policies and has also spoken out against her home country’s government.

  2. Her’s is a typical example of Mental Slavery, and selfishness. She would have done we to build a bridge with her motherland, Nigeria, and help improve governance there and make it attractive enough so that Africans won’t have to immigrate to UK. She is such an idiot. This is what trading eba and egusi stew with marmalade and tea does to your mind.
