Tinubu’s wife responds to Senator Natasha’s allegations against Akpabio

Senator Oluremi Tinubu, wife of President Bola Tinubu, has reacted to the sexual harassment allegations made by Senator Natasha Akpoti-Uduaghan against Senate President Godswill Akpabio.

Speaking in anticipation of International Women’s Day, Tinubu stressed that the Senate is a respected institution that should be treated with maturity.

She expressed confidence that lawmakers are addressing the issue appropriately, saying, “I believe the Senate is taking the necessary steps.”

Drawing from her 12 years of experience in the Senate, Tinubu encouraged women to be assertive in leadership roles and resist marginalization.

She advised them to stand their ground and confidently take up positions of authority.

Her statement comes as the Senate faces increasing public scrutiny over its handling of the allegations, with many demanding a thorough and transparent investigation.
