The National Leader of the All Progressives Congress, Asiwajo Bola Tinubu is presently in fresh disagreement with President Buhari over the move to appoint Ambode as the Minister who will represent Lagos-State, Starnews has learnt.

According to a top civil servant working with presidency, President Buhari has constantly rejected the recommendations from Tinubu for the Ministerial appointment of Lagos State.

The source hinted Starnews that Buhari insisted on listing the immediate past Governor of Lagos State, Akinwumi Ambode for the slot, a decision that did not go down well with the National Leader of the party.

This had resulted to a serious strained relationship between President Buhari and Tinubu, a Cold War tactically kept from public domain, Starnews has gathered.

It was gathered that some APC chieftain loyal to  Tinubu has also begun moves to scuttle plan to appoint Ambode as a minister.

The aggrieved party men were said to be making moves to petition the Economic and Financial Crimes Commission over Ambode’s alleged financial misappropriation and corruption as the immediate past governor of Lagos State
