Covid 19: Youths Reject Alleged Proposed Isolation Center in Ondo
By Mike Kuwoye A group known as Ilutitun Youth Development Forum (IYDF) in Ilutitun, Okitipupa local government Area of Ondo State, on Wednesday, staged a protest to reject an alleged proposed isolation center brought to the town by Ondo state government. Starnews NG reports that there were rumours making the round that the Ondo State government had proposed to bring coronavirus isolation center to the community as a result of the coronavirus pandemic rampaging the nation. It was rumoured that the state government had proposed the building of Caring Heart Methodist Mega School in the community as the Isolation Center.
Ondo SUBEB commences academic classes on Radio for school pupils
The chairman of State Universal Basic Education Board (SUBEB) in Ondo State, Princess Oladunni Odu, has ordered the commencement of academic classes on the radio for primary school pupils in Ondo State. In a statement she personally signed on Thursday and made available to news men by her special assistant on media and publicity, Mike Kuwoye, the teaching of the students via the radio is to ensure that school pupils in Ondo State continue with their learning and academic curriculum at home in this period of coronavirus pandemic.
