Governor Rotimi Akeredolu of Ondo State is dead. According to reports, Akeredolu died in Lagos on Wednesday. The Ondo governor died at the age of 67. Governor Rotimi Akeredolu is set to embark on another medical leave of absence starting Wednesday, December 13th, 2023. This follows an initial leave earlier this year for treatment of an undisclosed illness. During his absence, Deputy Governor Lucky Aiyedatiwa will take over the reins of the state as Acting Governor.
