The League Management Company (LMC) has announced that the 2022/2023 Nigeria Professional Football League, NPFL season will kick-off on September 23, 2023.   LMC made this known in a planned schedule for off season activities of the Nigeria elite league which starts with Club Licensing from July to August, 2022.   In the proposed calendar for the new season, the league is expected to end on June 18, 2023.   The NPFL general assembly of the LMC and club owners will hold on September 16 just before the season commences.   The league will go on mid-season
