Sunday Igboho Opens Up On Turning Into Cat To Escape DSS Arrest

Yoruba Nation advocate, Sunday Adeyemo, widely known as Sunday Igboho, denied the assertion that he transformed into a cat during a DSS raid in July 2021.

Igboho clarified in an interview with Punch that the DSS fired indiscriminately, causing the death of several of his pet cats.

He expressed that the DSS’s objective was either to apprehend or eliminate him, but he attributed his safety to divine intervention.

“Their mission was to either kill me or arrest me and take me to an unknown destination, but the Almighty God is greater than anybody in this world, including the despotic ex-President Muhammadu Buhari. My God and providence put Buhari to shame with the lawless invasion of my home because they all failed to achieve what they came for. I didn’t turn into a cat to escape.”

Igboho also refuted claims of harboring guns, labeling them as baseless accusations fabricated by the DSS for a fabricated criminal trial.

Additionally, he mentioned being unaware of the alleged presence of three herbalists during the chaotic raid due to the intense gunfire causing fear and turmoil.
