EURO 2024: Two teams book quarter-finals place

The first two teams to qualify for the quarter-final stage at Euro 2024 have been confirmed.

This follows the completion of two Round of 16 fixtures on Saturday.

Germany booked their place, thanks to a 2-0 win over Denmark in Dortmund.

There were no goals in the first half, but Kai Havertz opened the scoring from the penalty spot.

Jamal Musiala then broke away to score his third goal of the competition.

Germany will now face the winner between Spain and Georgia.

In the other game, Switzerland shocked Italy 2-0 and will take on the winner between England and Slovakia in the quarter-final.
